CYFD’s Behavioral Health Services,
provides professionals the opportunity for educational development, to better serve the state.
CYFD holds an annual learning collaborative to roster clinicians in the Infant Mental Health Child Parent Psychotherapy Program.

What is the purpose of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health?
‚óäTarget the caregiver-infant relationship as the vehicle for restoring and protecting the infant’s or young child’s mental health.

Who are the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) Services intended for?
◊ Infant and young children (0-5), who are experiencing mental health, attachment, and/or behavioral problems and/or have experienced trauma.

What is Child Parent Psychotherapy?
◊ Provides clinical treatment to infants and their caregivers to restore and repair their relationship.
